NUTRITIONAL COACH ...
‘Nothing tastes as good as feeling good’
“If it grows, or eats
food that grows, then you should eat it.”
Nutrition is responsible
for 80% of the progress you make on any conditioning
routine
Eating right is what
fitness is all about...
Roughly 1% of the
population has a natural metabolism that functions
optimally. Unfortunately for you and me, we are not part
of that exclusive 1% (but we do know that guy down the
street that is part of the 1%, and quite frankly, we
hate him). For the rest of us, we have to make the best
use of the foods that are healthiest for us.

‘Getting the basics right …’ |

|
 |
 |
|
Here are your basic rules:
|
1 |
Start with breakfast. It’s the
most important meal of the day. |
|
2 |
The next 4 meals of the day are
only slightly less important, so
don’t blow them off. |
|
3 |
If you see a fish and it’s not
fried, stuffed, or breaded, eat
it. |
|
4 |
If you see a fruit or a
vegetable, eat it. |
|
5 |
If you see a bird, eat it. |
|
6 |
If it’s sold in a box, do NOT
eat it. |
|
7 |
If you buy it at a drive through
window and it’s not “grilled
chicken, hold the mayo”, do NOT
eat it. |
|
8 |
Finally, and most important, you
are NOT going on a diet, you are
making lifestyle eating changes |

For the last 20 years I have been a yo yo
dieter with little success in keeping my weight on an
even keel. After a visit to my Doctor for a routine
health check, I was horrified to discover that I was a
high risk candidate for developing heart disease and
diabetes and I realised that I needed help and direction
with my diet. During the last 12 months Adam has
encouraged me to keep a food diary and has facilitated a
complete change in the way I now perceive food. Adam has
not endorsed any diet fads but has made me realise that
you are what you eat and has encouraged me to take small
manageable steps to adopt a healthy balanced diet for
life. The constant compliments I now receive from
family, friends and colleagues and my new found
confidence in the way I look, are a testament to Adam’s
knowledge and expertise in nutrition.
